Determining Size
For all cushions, except flock cushions
Measure your chair or sofa and enter these dimensions. You do not need to order extra centimeters. If your cushion is between elements, such as armrests, subtract 0.5 to 1 cm from the width.
For flock cushions
For flock cushions, specific points of attention apply to determine the sizes. Refer to the "Instructions and tips" below the 3D view of the cushion on this page for instructions on length, width, and thickness.
Color
Select the color(s) here. With 4 "Fabric," you will only see the fabrics available in your chosen color.
Inside and Outside
Each fabric in the configurator indicates in parentheses whether it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Color Fastness
All fabrics have different colorfastness ratings. Some fabrics fade faster than others.
Each filling corresponds to specific preferences. View the 6 options below:
- SG25: firm/sturdy, for back cushions and budget-friendly.
- SG35 (medium): medium, water-permeable, quick-drying, mold-resistant, for outdoor use.
- SG35 (hard): firm/sturdy, for seat cushions and budget-friendly.
- HR30: soft/medium, resilient, quick-drying, and durable.
- HR50: "lounge" filling, resilient, quick-drying, and durable.
- Quick dry: firm, water-permeable, quick-drying, mold-resistant, for outdoor use.
- Flock filling: fine pieces of polyether, standard for flock (back) cushions.
Zipper
We recommend placing the zipper on the longest side so that you can easily remove the cover from the filling.
Note: if the longest side is visible, it is better not to do this.
3. Color Explanation

Instructions and tips
Rectangular cushion in centimeters
Note: for a back cushion, subtract the thickness of your seat cushion from the height of the back cushion (since the back cushion will rest on the seat cushion). Also, be sure to include any extra centimeters the back cushion needs to protrude above the sofa in your measurements.
Use actual measurements
You don't need to add any extra centimeters. If your cushion falls between sizes, such as between armrests, we recommend entering a size that's 0.5 to 1 cm smaller. This advice applies only to the width, not the depth. If you're unsure about the measurements, please contact our Customer service.
Maximum length / width
We can make almost any size. A cushion up to 200 to 220 cm looks best. The larger the cushion, the greater the chance that the fabric will not sit nicely around it and may crease.
Therefore, we recommend dividing larger cushions into parts that are a maximum of 200 to 220 cm. For example, a cushion of 4 meters would consist of 2 parts of 200 cm.

Frequently asked questions about rectangular cushions
-
When should I use a rectangular shape?
A rectangular shape is often used as a seat cushion and back cushion.
Note: for a back cushion, subtract the thickness of your seat cushion from the height, since the back cushion will rest on the seat cushion. Include any extra centimeters the cushion needs to protrude above the sofa in your measurements.
A rectangular shape always has 3 dimensions: length/width, depth/height, and thickness. If your cushion has 4 dimensions, you probably need a different shape, such as a half-round, trapezium, cushion with unequal sides , or a cushion with a slanted back.
-
Can I order Velcro to keep my cushion in place?
Velcro is often used to keep a cushion in place. This is not a standard feature on the website, but you can always request it through Customer service.
The cost of adding Velcro is €5.00 per meter.
-
Can I order a new cover for my rectangular cushion?
That's possible. Is the cover of your current pillow still in good condition? Then you can measure the dimensions of your current cover. You can do this as follows:
Remove the cover from the pillow
Turn the cover inside out
Measure from seam to seam (not from fabric to fabric). The width/length, height, and thickness. These are the dimensions you also enter in our configurator.
If the cover of your current pillow does not fit tightly around the filling, please provide the dimensions of your filling (without the cover around it) and indicate this immediately when ordering throughor . We will pass this on to the factory so that they can take this into account. A cover is always made smaller than the filling itself, so that it fits tightly around it.
-
Do I have to use the actual dimensions?
Yes, you don't need to add extra centimeters in principle. There are a few exceptions:
If the pillow gets stuck somewhere, for example, between two walls or armrests, we recommend subtracting 0.5 to 1 cm in width per pillow for extra clearance. Otherwise, the fabric may crease.
If you use the finishing with cord (which falls outside the dimensions), you must subtract an additional half centimeter in length from the pillow.
